Barn to Library Restoration
Rather than demolish it, the owners envisioned a space where the spirit of the old structure could live on, reimagined as a library retreat. We retained the original barn frame and exposed beams, carefully restoring and reinforcing them.
Custom-built shelves line the walls and handcrafted staircase are designed to feel like an extension of the barn’s original frame. Large windows let in soft natural light, while cozy reading nooks offer space to slow down and enjoy the stillness. Every design choice was made to foster comfort, quiet, and inspiration.
